We are in the midst of Fortnite’s swashbucklin’ Season 8, but what is new in the battle royale?
Well, Fortnite Season 8 is motivated by pirates. That means pirate ships, a volcano and new themed skins, like the Blackheart and Hybrid advanced skins, alongside a range of new pets, gliders, pickaxes and much more.
Additionally, Fortnite’s map has had a repainting with Wailing Woods being substituted with Sunny measures and Lazy Links being substituted with the shipwrecked Lazy Lagoon – you can also use the cannons on the pirate boat to unleash devastating attacks on enemies.

There’s been a good deal of hype surrounding Fortnite since its launch in July 2017. But just what is it?
Fortnite is a battle royale game that sees you thrown onto an island with no armor or weapons and it is your responsibility to scavenge for supplies and fight for your life to be the last Player or squad standing at the end of the game — with the extra strain of a shrinking map which closes in as the game progresses, forcing players into tighter skirmishes.

What is new? Fortnite is becoming Reboot Vans and Reboot Cards
Fortnite update version 8.30 sees Epic Games introducing a new respawn mechanic which seems… oddly familiar.
Announced in its most recent Battle Royale Dev Update movie, Fortnite’s Reboot Van enables players to respawn an removed squadmate. So how does this work?
Your squadmates then return one at a time into the van, which then has a cooldown period before anybody else can use it .
Fortnite upgrade 8.30 is expected to go live on April 9, but it appears the update could be delayed until April 10. We’ll update this page when upgrade times are confirmed.
IOS users can download directly from the App Store. Provided that you are using iOS 11 on iPhone 6S/SE, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air 2, iPad 2017, iPad Pro apparatus or later you’re going to be fine. Oh, and you will need an online connection, naturally.

Is it the complete game?
It’s the complete Fortnite game. There are some tiny differences: it isn’t quite as visually impressive as it is on stronger apparatus, the controls are touchscreen, and a great deal of audio cues are made visual so you can play in public with no need for headphones. However, you won’t be missing out on any important features.
What is the deal with cross-play?
A sweet deal is exactly what it is. While formerly Xbox One and PS4 owners could not play the game together, Sony’s U-turn about the matter means that now everyone across Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android can all participate in the crossfire.
So in case you’ve got friends that prefer PC, others who prefer console and you are off on vacation with your cellphone, that’s no cause for the fun to stop.
There is also cross-progression. Therefore, if you are logged in to your Fortnite accounts on cellular and then log into your console to perform there, everything you did on cellular later that day is carried over.

What is a Fortnite Battle Pass?
The Fight Pass is a purchasable item in Fortnite which gives you access to exclusive in-game benefits.
As players complete daily challenges and level their position, they make Battle Stars that can then be used to unlock Tiers within their Battle Pass.
Everyone with a Battle Pass will find the Free reward that they unlock, but just Premium Pass holders will find the Premium reward. Fight Pass Premium can only be bought with in-game V bucks rather than with real money.
You can Buy a Fight Pass for approximately #7/$10 from the Battle Pass tab of the game’s menu.
Twitch Prime advantages
People who utilize Twitch Prime and perform Fortnite will be pleased to know that they have access to free loot at the moment. Those with a Prime account may assert the Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack and the Fortnite Twitch Prime Pack 2 that include a multitude of cosmetic items and can be found across all platforms.
The second pack Includes three exclusive things for Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode such as the camouflage-heavy Trailblazer Outfit, the True North Back Bling, along with the Tenderizer Pickaxe. There is also a brand new dance emote for those who enjoy the dance floor up to the battleground.
The packs can only be maintained on a single platform, but they may be shared across PC/console and cellular as long as you use the identical Epic account across these programs. You can not however, share your loot across PS4 and Xbox One if you’re using the identical Epic account.
