Clash of Clans Spring Update 2019 reduces building and training costs and duration

Together with the following Clash of Clans upgrade, Supercell Games is seeking to greatly alter the in-game economy. In an effort to keep players engaged with the sport, Supercell is lowering the length and cost required to upgrade troops and buildings.

Nearly every building in the game is having its update time slashed, in some cases at least half of the time. The Town Hall level 4, as an instance, will only need eight hours to update to another leveldown from 16 hours.

The biggest changes in update duration are in the lower levels, probably in an effort to keep newer players participated with the game. Nothing kills a new participant’s interest quicker than forcing them to wait for an entire day to get a mid-tier upgrade.

From personal experience, the long wait times, particularly in the mid-tier (level 7-10) building updates, are a driveway killer. Having to wait these extended periods (or cover to speed up them ) seriously limits what you can do in the game. By speeding up a number of those lower buildings, you reduce some of the boredom early on and keep players hooked somewhat longer.

Having said that, upgrading buildings within their later levels still want a long wait interval.

When these new changes go into effect, the maximum you will be waiting to get a building update is 10 times (Army Camp degree 9, Archer Tower degree 16 and Dark Elixir Barracks level 8).

Once more, pretty much every building has had its update cost slashed.

Similar to construction times, this change will decrease the wait time necessary to collect the resources required. Updating in the subsequent levels will still want a grind, but these declines are quite welcomed.

The 2019 Spring Update will also lower the length for updating troops in the lab. Once more, just about each and every troop has had its length lowered.

In the end, troop training costs are being diminished also. The resource costs to train troops are lowered by up to 50 percent based on the troop and its own level.

At first glance, these are a few much-welcomed changes. The building and update price reduction coupled with the decline in troop training costs should result in more active gameplay. This is particularly important when trying to find new players to participate with your game.

Reduce the cost of training troops should help you manage more frequent attacks that, in turns, should help farm more funds. With the reduce wait times and building expenses, you should have the ability to improve your village more often.

This is not all Supercell as intended for the 2019 Spring Update for Clash of Clans. A couple weeks ago, the programmer listed lots of Quality of Life improvements, such as automatically reloading defensive structures and re-arming traps in addition to de-cluttering the Clan Castle menu.
